Ajah’s research team is continually looking for new information and sources of funding to add to Fundtracker. Three upcoming deadlines caught our eye the other day – take a look and see if your organization qualifies for one of these great opportunities.
- Trying to make your city block a little greener? Mountain Equipment Co-Op’s Urban Sustainability Grant supports environmental groups that are taking on urban sustainability issues such as waste, energy, or transportation. Grants range from $500 to $2,000. Apply online by October 30th 2012.
- PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada wants to help your organization develop its human capital. The Leadership Grants Program supports the staff or volunteers of small to medium nonprofits by offering up to $5,000 towards a proposed professional development plan for a team or an individual. Deadline: 3:00pm EST Friday October 26th 2012.
- Help put a stop to bullies with the Crime Prevention Action Fund. This year CPAF is looking to fund projects that focus on preventing violence amongst youth ages 12 to 17, urban aboriginal youth, and school-based bullying. Submit your Letter of Intent and Application Form on or before October 25th 2012.
